I worry that at some point devices might get unplugged and then end up getting plugged in incorrectly. I think careful documentation will probably be the best cure for that.
The OS we are using is Ubuntu Server 10.10 32Bit.
The modem is a based on the Motorola G24-Lite chip, which does support AT+CIMI
I've only just started using SMSTools (as in yesterday) so I'm assuming I'm using the latest version, which I believe is 3.1.14

Is it not possible to automatically get a device to work out which queue it should be using from the phone number returned by AT+CNUM?
Currently, I have configured each modem name as the phone number of it's SIM, which means I can't easily swap the SIM into other modems.
Possible in the future or even now?
