Hi all - I am very interested in thsi after one of our employees came up with a great idea of using mobile phones to enter their timesheets. what I would like to know is if SMS Server Tools can handle incoming texts and output to a file which I can then manipulate with whatever script... I would like to be able to accept SMS's from staff along the lines of... 1130:0800:1330:P3:C2:M13 Which breaks down as... EmployeeNo:StartTime:EndTime:ProjectCode:ClientCode:Mileage (or similar) I can then create time recording logs for input into our billing and payroll system (with any luck!) I have lots and lots of Linux experience, just need to knwo if this can handle around 300 incoming SMS's a day? I have a big quad core server waiting !
