ThomasL: Hello Keke,
The synology forum is very slow; i like your quick reply's more! Thanks for you service!
I have some old Nokia's but no cable; so i would like to try to connect the e71. But i see it gives to much problems and takes a lot of time, also for you...
I think maybe it's the best way to buy a cable and try again with an old telly so i can send and receive; don't you agree?

ThomasL: Operating system name and version: BusyBox
Version of smsd: 3.1.14
Smsd installed from: sources
Name and model of a modem / phone: nokia e71 / htc 3600
Interface: USB
Hello,
I'am trying to sens a sms; but i only get errors.
First i tried with the Nokia; and after that i tried with the htc.
After connecting the phone to the diskstation by an usb cable the contents of the directory /dev/ changes:
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 4, 64 Oct 16 02:02 ttyS0
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 4, 65 Oct 16 02:09 ttyS1
crw--w--w- 1 root root 3, 0 Oct 16 02:19 ttyp0
crw--w--w- 1 root root 3, 1 Oct 16 02:07 ttyp1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 3, 2 Oct 15 22:38 ttyp2
The config file has this configuration in it:
devices = GSM1
logfile = /var/log/smsd.log
loglevel = 7
#[GSM1]
device = /dev/ttyS1
incoming = yes
baudrate = 115200
rtscts = no
send_delay = 100
phonecalls = yes
smsc=xxxx
After sending a sms with the sendsms command:
sendsms
31645678909
the content
I get this error in the logfile:
