I aknow that system performance may vary depending on several factors but in general:
What is the maximum number of messages that can be sent per day with one USB modem using sms Server Tools 3?
Do you have a forum on dimensioning?
What are the optimal settings to send the maximum number of messages?
Thanks.

algrims: Yes the sequence is correct. You were right about the USB port.
I tried with the other one and it worked.
Now that leads me to the question of how to make sure that when server is rebooted it always assigns same usb port to the device? That's in case we have more than one modem.
Thanks.

Having major issues getting AT+CUSD to work:
Tried almost every option from AT+CUSD=1,"*120#",15 to ATD*120#
Also tried in PDU format. The thing is that AT+CUSD=? returns OK
Any suggestions are welcome. Also any other USB modems know to work with linux and can handle this command AT+CUSD.
2011-07-06 11:30:07,7, GSM1: -> AT+CUSD=1,"AA980C3602",15
2011-07-06 11:30:07,7, GSM1: Command is sent, waiting for the answer
2011-07-06 11:30:23,7, GSM1: put_command expected (\+CUSD:)|(ERROR), timeout occurred. 1.
2011-07-06 11:30:23,7, GSM1: <- OK

I am using smstools to receive and send messages. Everything works great except that it attempts to read every single memory space (1-30) even if there is no messages.
I know that it should be able to check for a new message first and then only it reads the incoming message at the location. Any suggestions?
Thanks
