I need to use silent/Stealth/Ping SMS. It's a Type0 SMS which is specified in GSM 03.40 as follows: "A short message type 0 indicates that the ME must acknowledge receipt of the short message but may discard its contents."
"silent SMS" do not show up on a display of a target device, nor trigger any acoustical signal when received. When they are received by the device, they generate a delivery receipt and don't store the message in their internal db.
Type0 SMS is different of Flash SMS
Is it possible to send silent SMS with smstools?
