Hi. I have been using smstools in cygwin perfectly in windows xp. But I have installed it on windows 7 as administrator and configured smstools application in cygwin. But some how it is not working.
It is always showing me message " /dev/com1 is in use by another user" although I have run it as administrator user.
Following is my smsd.conf file configuration for reference :
os_cygwin=yes
devices = GSM1
outgoing = /var/spool/sms/outgoing
checked = /var/spool/sms/checked
failed = /var/spool/sms/failed
incoming = /var/spool/sms/incoming
sent = /var/spool/sms/sent

This configuration is working perfect in windows xp accept the additional line of "os_cygwin=yes"
Kindly help me urgently as my whole sms system is affected badly.
I also tried to installed XP Mode in windows 7 but there it can't install modem so I couldn't test it. Pls. help to resolve this issue.
