I have installed the SMStools and now I cant send any SMS. I can receive sms from this but cant sent. This is my config devices = GSM1 logfile = /var/log/smsd.log failed = /var/spool/sms/failed sent = /var/spool/sms/sent hangup_incoming_call = yes loglevel = 7 [GSM1] device = /dev/ttyUSB0 incoming = yes #pin = 1111 All messages are sent to failed folder. I think that comunication is good. I opened minicom and sent AT and this answered OK Any help will be so appreciated. Thks

I am trying to send this info to the database

macaruchi: I compiled again using lubmm. BUt I dont have any cron or process to delete the failed sms. Another problem the server send few sms without notice. I mean , I sent 1 sms and it sent 5 sms.
macaruchi: Hi! I have working my server so fine but now I wanna know how to know the qyt messages that i sent and the failed. In the folder failed I see the SMS failed but it desappear so fast. I need to count both sms. How can I do that? I have run_command any 2 min to check my balance it works so fine sending the info to file but i want to send to DB. Cant I? Debian 2.6: 3.5: sources

I use 1809xxxyyyy to send SMS local in my country and it works rock!! To send SMS to another country I use 011535XXXYYYY but it doesnt work but it appears in log how it was sent but never arrive but when I sent the SMS using the cellular it works fine so the problem is not the network

macaruchi: I could send the SMS today. ! Really , I dont know why yesterday didnt work. Maybe the network was slow becasue they come 2 hours lately. I added a line to smsd.conf and I get an error. I added in global sections failed = /var/spool/sms/failed the log says command not reconigzed. Can I do the eventhandler in other language different to bash. I use perl and PHP and I 'd like to do a few scripts in these languages. Cant I?

macaruchi: I did everything as you said but it didnt work. I sent a sms to my modem but it didnt appear in incoming folder but there were another sms past old. I sent one sms but it never arrived. macaruchi: Hi! I have installed a debian kernel patch to use my multitech modem with etch4. Now my question is what should I do to test my modem GSM? Debian Etch with patched kernel 3.5 From source Multitech modem MTCBA-G-U-F2 usb USB If somebody use this modem to send SMS please can you address me to rigth direction to continue with this.
