I have a device in Greece with a Vodafone Greece payg SIM. It uses sums to send to a UK number. Messages are delivered successfully, but with incorrect "From" numbers. Instead of the sender's +30 6xx xxx xxxx Greek number they arrive with +44 7xxx xxxx "From" numbers.
I set the "From:" field on outgoing messages (obvs.) but don't explicitly set "To:" or any other headers.
I'm sure this is a network issue and not an smsd or modem issue. But if anybody recognises this and has an idea of how to fix it then do please let me (& all of us) know!! Thanks :)
