tomle: Reopening this with a quick question: Are there any cellphones which support reading messages with smstools ? If not, I'm already considering a real Wavecom modem, which budget model do you guys recomend for sending and receiving messages ? Thanks, Thomas

Could anyone give me a hint on config changes or other ways to solve this. I'm gonna use this solution sending Nagios alerts so its not preferred to set smstools retrying to 0 (if possible?) and assume that everything is fine. Thanks, Thomas
