You can close this topic...
I've found the solution !!!

Best regards,

Pierre_lg: After 3 days of different tries... I'm still having the same issue.
I'm able to receive SMS but I'm not able to send one !!!
I've updated my smsd to the latest version, so here is my current configuration:
Operating system name and version: CentOS 5.9
Version of smsd: 3.1.15
Smsd installed from: Source
Name and model of a modem / phone: Huawei E220
Interface: USB
My smsd.conf file:
devices = GSM1
logfile = /var/log/smsd.log
loglevel = 7
[GSM1]
device = /dev/ttyUSB0
incoming = no
#init = AT+CPMS="ME","ME","ME"
init = AT^CURC=0
#init = AT+CSCS="GSM"
memory_start = 0
baudrate = 19200
pin = 1234
smsc = 32475161616
Note: I've tried the different init parameter (in comment) one by one... but still the sqme error!
And here is the log with the error:

Pierre_lg: Some complement of information...
I've tried also with the following parameters in the smsd.conf:
# Example smsd.conf. Read the manual for a description
devices = GSM1
logfile = /var/log/smsd.log
loglevel = 7
[GSM1]
device = /dev/ttyUSB0
incoming = no
init = AT^CURC=0
init2 = AT+CSCS="GSM"
memory_start = 0
baudrate = 19200
pin = XXXX
smsc = 32475161616
But still the same result...
One question, I've seen different threads concerning the international numbers or short numbers.
All example that I saw was for germans number or uk numbers with 12 digits.
Here in Belgium, the number has only 11 digits (see smsc number).
Can it be the problem ?
Thanks one more time for your support...

Pierre_lg: Sorry, I forgot to mention the version of SMSD: 3.0.10-4.el5.i386
I have also tried to add the SMSC parameter in the smsd.conf but still the same issue.
Thanks again for your help.
