Is there a method I could use to convert the binary received into hex for entry into a database..
The current system uses some junk java app that receives the message, converts it to hex and puts it into a db.
I'd like to do this with smstools3 instead of the junk flaky system we use on windows/java..
I receive around 45k messages across 15 modems in 6 hours, I'd like to move away from windows and get this done on linux, centos5 I hear you wail... It's a Corporate decision to use it so am stuck with it..
Any advice would be appreciated..
