Operating system name and version: Windows 7
Version of smsd: 3.1.15
Hello everyone.
First of all, I would like to say that english is not my native language, so please excuse any mistakes I make.
Secondly, I would like to say thanks in advance to everyone who answer and to keke, whose posts already were a great help in setting up smstools3.
My problem (probably a pretty simple one, since I'm a newbie in such things):
I am trying to start smstools3 from the windows command line, but I can't get it working.
Normally, I open cygwin with a shortcut with the following destination: "C:\cygwin64\bin\mintty.exe -i /Cygwin-Terminal.ico -"
When I use this command in the Windows command line, I can open a cygwin terminal from which I can start smstools3 per "smsd" command. But whatever I try, I can't pass the "smsd" command from the command line to the cygwin terminal.
Is there a simple way to start smstools3 with the command line or from a batch file?
with friendly regards, Nikster
