Smsd installed from repo

Hi

I've noticed that the incoming files don't get deleted unless I manually delete them in my eventHandler.
Am I doing something wrong or is this expected. Is it best to put in a cron to clear them out or unlink in the eventHandler.

Thanks!

Smsd does not delete any files from incoming directory, or from sent, failed or report directories, if those directories are used.

You will need to choose if you want to remove the files as soon as they have been handled in the event handler, or delete files periodically. If you are sure that files are never required, just delete them in the eventhandler. Otherwise create a script which deletes for example files older than one day. Cron can be used, but there is also a global setting regular_run available. It is executed while smsd is running and the interval is adjustable.
