Operating system name and version: odroid-jessie 3.10.105+ Version of smsd: 3.1.21 Smsd installed from: sources Name and model of a modem / phone: HUAWEI E3372 Interface: USB v2 Is there a top limit of processing ? Senario: 1 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 93 sec = 1,07/s 2 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 47 sec = 2,13/s 3 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 32 sec = 3,13/s 4 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 24 sec = 4,17/s 5 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 23 sec = 4,34/s 6 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 22 sec = 4,54/s 7 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 20 sec = 5/s 8 x E3372 (100 sms of 160 chars): 20 sec = 5/s It's like no big change from 4 modems and up ?? how can this be ? i tried it and diffrent setups, this is on an Odroid XU4, i get exact the same with a Raspberry PI 3 (+/- 2 sec). I tried it on a core I7 machine with SSD disks and a scraped ubuntu with only the nessary running, same same ? Can you help ?

Perhaps the checked queue goes empty. Did you use the setting trust_outgoing = yes?
If you stop the smsd, put all 100 files to the checked queue and start the smsd, what is the result with 8 modems?

For these tests i have stopped smsd, filled the queue and then started smsd. I have today tried it while smsd is running, same result or a diff of a few milliseconds. tried again with 4 modems on either: odroid XU4 / PI 3 the PI sends 100 sms in 25 sec the OdroidXU4 sends 100 sms in 59 sec they run the exact same software build, only diff is that Odroid is faster and has a lot faster disk. I tried with 4 and with 8 on Odroid and here it takes approx 1 min for 100sms 4 modems: https://pastebin.com/xSiiPTCU And approx 30 sec for 100sms 8 modems: https://pastebin.com/1eAQuhnw Dont know why it suddenly is slower on Odroid then on PI maybe you see a diff in the logs: Odroid with 4 modems as opposed to this one PI with 4 modems
