[solved] Wavecom, smstools and playsms

Version of smsd: 3.1.3
Smsd installed from: N/A
Name and model of a modem / phone: Wavecom WM0D2
Interface: serial

Have a problem, can only send one text at a time. That works. Now, Using the broadcast function in playsms, i get this error:

If i kill the smsd, resend the sms, then look in /var/spool/sms/outgoing and all the sent files will be there.

can we delay the time smsd reads the files in the queue?

Thanks, other than that, playsms and sms servertools are a great combo!

You have incorrect queue setting: OTHER cannot use /var/spool/sms/outgoing directory, because it's reserved for outgoing files. Create another directory, for example /var/spool/sms/queue_other, and change the definition.

With your setup, when one modem is running, using the queue means that SMS can be sent to any number other than short numbers. This is because there is no s in the list. I assume that you have wanted this limitation, otherwise there is no reason to use queues at all.

Thank for pointing that out Keke, I'm embarrassed! but was pretty tired when i posted

I have deleted the init string altogether and it works.


Have any other success stories with playsms, the version I have used is 0.9.4
