You mean, when you send SMS, the receivers phone will display some word as a senders number?
That's impossible when GSM modem and network is used. The number in SIM is fixed and cannot be a word.
Direct access over TCP/IP to the Service Center allows changing the senders number and allows also words to be used. Smstools3 does not currently support those kind of connections, which are sometimes called as "Large "Account".
Only if your number is listed in the receivers address book, the name is shown, but of course this is a normal functionality of a phone.

You should contact your operator and ask what kind of protocol they are using with direct connection. Then you have to make a deal with operator. This may be expensive.
Those services, like TurboSMS, may offer a feature to change the number of sender. I do not know about features and prices of those kind of services, but as they have a direct connection, it is at least technically possible to change the number.

That looks like a typical SMS Gateway which has a connection to the service center. Even with a great help of Google Translator, I was unable to find where it was said that GSM protocol is used in the client side. It can send SMS to any GSM number in the world, but so does any phone and modem too . Some programs may change the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) when running on the phone. This is not the same as changing the phone number to any number or text. In the SMS protocol, there is no such kind of field as number or name of a sender and therefore it cannot be changed.

SMS Gate (from your link) seems to be limited, as it supports only single part messages. Similar service on http://www.cardboardfish.com/ supports longer messages and has HTTP GET interface. With that kind of interface you can use the service together with smstools3. In the message file you can select select a message to be sent using a modem or a third party service. See this post for more details. This example uses another Smstools3 server, but with minor changes it can call any server for sending.
