What would be the PHP equivalent of these 2 lines that was written in Bash:

If your server has some Mail Related Extensions installed, like IMAP or Mailparse, they provide functionality for parsing. If any extensions are not available, or cannot be installed, just read the file line by line and do the parsing manually.
