Pls how to modify smsd.conf ...........I want to know the via phone i am sending the SMS, Acutally i want to send SMS whenever some trigger is happend in the Excel... how to do dis ?

Your Excel application should create an outgoing SMS file when some trigger is fired. See SMS file format for details.

After the file is created, smstools will take care of things. For example, when SMS is sent, eventhandler is called and this script or program can do any actions which are required. For example sent messages are stored to the database, delivery reports are handled etc. etc.

When SMS is received, eventhandler is also called. Eventhandler can create an answer to the SMS, and / or deliver SMS to your front-end application.

For example, see this topic: [answered] auto responder + sms2email. There is an eventhandler which sends an email and also sends an answer to the SMS. Some other samples are available too, search for "eventhandler" to find them. Also browse the Sample scripts / setups forum.
