When some one plug out USB modem and then plug it back the modem stops working forever.
Is any way to start working again when modem is plugged back to USB ?
My PC has now one USB modem wich can be unplugged off accidentally. Now I have to restart smsd when modem is plugged back.

You need to create a "hotplug" script, which restarts smsd when a modem is plugged back. It depends on the operating system how to do this, I do not have any general samples.

Ok. Never mind. I just thought that there is an option "periodicly to try to use dev if it becomes unavailable" and I could not find it.
