Version of smsd: latest
Smsd installed from: sources.
Name and model of a modem / phone: HUAWEI E1552
Interface: serial / USB

ive successfully installed SMS tools and its working in my ubuntu box, now my problem is when i tried on cygwin, i have this error

In your image 3G PC UI Interface is COM43, not 34. ;)

still no luck keke.. same with my SE C902, on ubuntu i was able to make them work.. deym.

If the error from Cygwin is still "No such file or directory", you have to search for another port. In some cases it may be hidden, not shown in Device Manager.

But as you have Ubuntu and it works well, why use Windows/Cygwin...

Interesting...I had the same issue with Huawei on W7, not solved yet.
I was trying Linux, several different flavors, but never got the driver for USB working.
Windows 7+ Cygwin worked, but only with Teltonika USB modem.
Now I have to install playsms on W7...really would like to use LAMP, but cannot because drivers issue.
