Operating system name and version: Debian 6.0.3

I have a little problem when using two different servers with smsd with the same modem.
Even if i use the option "keep_open=no" (to my mind, it should close the connection to the modem after sending/when no connection is necessary), the daemon
keeps up the connection. Because of that, the other server cannot establish a connection, since the modem allows only one telnet connection at the same time.
Is this a bug in the smsd software? Or have I commited any other mistakes?
My /etc/smsdconf looks like that :

Thanks in advance
