Name and model of a modem / phone: Wavecom 8-ports modem

I have a new purchased 8-ports GSM modem , and I used it to bulk send sms .But after several hours, the first 4 -ports will auto disconnect , and after some times the remaining 4-ports will disconnect as well.
And sometimes the OS cannot detect the 4-ports without restart the pc.
But if I just connect it to pc without send any sms, it will not disconnect.
The cable between pc and modem is tight.
I have another 16-ports GSM modem connected to the pc as well but this modem never have this problem.
I'm not sure whether it is OS,modem any other problem? Perhaps someone here can give me some suggestion...thank you very much.
