Version of smsd: smstools-3.1.15-3.el6.x86_64
Smsd installed from: package repository
Name and model of a modem / phone: 12d1:1520 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. K3765 HSPA
I'm trying to get this modem to work on a CentOs machine
Kernel version is 2.6.32-279.11.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Oct 16 15:57:10 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I've ran usb_modeswitch to force the modem to appear, I have /dev/ttyUSB0 but I can't communicate with it via smsd or even minicom.
The error log shows:
I am certain that there's no problem with the modem, because I inserted it into a Ubuntu PC and I was able to send SMS with it (also using smstools).
I've copied the same /etc/smsd.conf that worked on the Ubuntu box with no luck. I've tried all baudrate settings and various minicom port settings - no luck.
