[solved] There are no devices specified

Operating system name and version: CentOS 5.5 64bit
Version of smsd: 3.1.14
Smsd installed from: sources
Name and model of a modem / phone: Siemens MC35i
Interface: serial

Hi, I'm trying my modem on a second server but obtain a strange error:



Why this?

Config file:

devices = MC35I
logfile = /var/log/smsd.log
loglevel = 7
outgoing = /var/spool/sms/outgoing
incoming = /var/spool/sms/incoming
checked = /var/spool/sms/checked
failed = /var/spool/sms/failed

Your smsd.conf looks correct. That error is possible only if the list of devices is empty. For example:



This kind of usage may cause this error. Perhaps your smsd is using another smsd.conf than the one shown?

Seems really strange.

BTW I've copied (scp) directly from one host where it works to this one.
And... now it works!!!
I've not hold a copy of the old config or I would make a diff between the two files, even if they are identical...
