hello
I want to know how can find out remaining sim card credit and how can I load credit to my sim card that I put in my GSM modem . In my region when I want to check my remaining credit i send a code to operator like *140*2# and it returns me a message(not a sms message) about remaining credit and when I want to load credit to a sim card from a cell phone I put a code for example *140*1# then I put a credit code after that for example 256875545465 then dialling it as a number to call like (*140*1#256875545465) not a message to a appropriate number , after that it returns me succeed or failure message ( but not a sms message it is a kind of message that is appeared on my cell phone screen and when I do this from minicom it sends message directly to screen, "not an sms message") so how can I do it with smstools I mean dialling code an credit to operator(that has no number to dial) and receiving its returned message to understand if it was successful or not as a file?

Check this topic first: Sample config and script for regular_run and balance of prepaid SIM using USSD.

With regular_run_cmdfile you can load the credit.
