Things I have done

Tired various different permeations with no luck, managed to create more errors :D
Tried it on 2 new build Linux systems (Debain latest and Rasbrry PI (whezy I think)
Gave up late one night and decided to check the USB stick worked on windoze - it does and with the sim and its definitely sim unlocked (vodafone branded stick but with an EE Sim
Checked the message centre number is correct

I followed the guide here (which is what got me excited about the possibilities of this software)and it all went exactly as detailed up to the point of the first test and then I checked the log and got the same error time after time which I dont really know how to troubleshoot

Please treat me as an idiot as whilst I have a lot of computer knowledge and skills, I am noob when it comes to Linux and happy to be educated by others, I have tried to search for the error but without luck

thanks in advance
