Operating system name and version: Linux CentOS 4.8
Version of smsd: Not yet install
Smsd installed from: sources / package repository / from elsewhere...
Name and model of a modem / phone: Wavecomm Fastrak Supreme 10
Interface: serial / USB / some adapter... Serial

I would like to use Wavecom Fastrak Supreme 10 GSM modem and hook it to the serial port of my Linux (CentOS) server.

Can that model be used with a Linux server? I really appreciate your feedback and thank you for offering us a superb rang of products.

Thank you in advance.

This kind of a device is one of the best for use with SMSTools3.

Some uncommon features, like phonecalls and voicecall are not tested, but may still work. At least all basic messaging works, as this device is close to the M1306B.

Manual of AT commands for this device can be found by searching Google "Wavecom at commands x51".
