Your log does not show how a message is sent. Can you show those lines?

The log is ok, but the answer from the modem is not. It returns zero as a message id and smsd cannot do anything for this.
Status report is correct, but returned in "old" format (without CSA). It is handled because smsd tries both modes for incoming messages. You could try if modem setting mode = old makes any difference with outgoing message. If it does not work, you have to live without message id's, or use another modem, or perhaps upgrade the firmware of a device.
