Operating system name and version: Windows 7 - cygwin Version of smsd: 3.1.14 Smsd installed from: sources Name and model of a modem / phone: Sonyericsson K850i Interface: USB Hello, i tried to use smstools3 to receive SMS with my Sonyericsson K850i to forward it via http to my webserver. The messages were wrote into the incoming folder, but were not deleted from phone. i got the following log-entry: What can i do to resolve the problem? I'M sorry for my english Greatz Angelo

Your device is a smart phone which does not support deletion. It is strange, as the reading still works. I assume that there is no way to fix this. You have to use some another device, like a real modem.

Smart or not... With a quick view to it's features it sounds like a "smart" phone. Those kind of devices usually do not show messages through the external interface. Your device shows, but does not allow deletion. This may be caused by the messaging features of a phone, or the phone's firmware just is broken or bad. In any case, most phones are problematic and unreliable for server based messaging, and usually users have to buy a real modem, sooner or later...
