But i receive a regular sms to my inbox.

What is your handset?

The format of vCalendar works at least with Nokia and some other devices, but it's not sure if all possible devices are supported. If you can send calendar appointment with your handset, you could set global setting store_received_pdu = 3, restart smsd, and send an appointment to your BenQ. Then show the PDU, so I can examine it.
