Operating system name and version: Ubuntu Server 10.04 Version of smsd: 3.1.14 Smsd installed from: package repository Name and model of a modem / phone: Siemens Cinterion MC55i Interface: USB Continuous with problems. In order to improve the speed of SMS sending, I placed pool of modems new with capacity for 64 modems (install 30 with SIM). The problem is that this pool practically walks slower that the equal equipment with 16 modems. The problem of Network with ERROR 500 stays, but the one is the SMS Tools that definitively is delayed in sending. Inclusively, it makes a routine that leaves in the tail (outgoing) in small groups the messages (max 100 sms only in /var/spool/sms/outgoing), not to overload, this improved something the performance, but the improvement is small. SMTtools is sending with 30 modems -->3,000 sms/hour, that is to say practically each modem sends 1.5 sms x minute ............. or 01 sms every 30 seconds. For me, thats is very very problem............ My configuration: Velocity sending 01 modem ( :-( very peer) LOG detail 7 from one modem

I have verified several times ............... the slowness problem is accentuated when active must than 40 modems ................. will not exist some restriction to the number of modems in the application?
