I am using ZTE-MF100 USB modem and can send only unicode messages while setting Alphabet: UCS

plain text message are not being sent and there is always Error +CMS ERROR: 500 (Unknown error)

when I try with different mode then it works on plain text too.

my question is, if my modem is faulty then it should not send unicode messages it only stops on plain text messages. why ?

please help.
