after finally getting the machine and the modem together. started smsd and get all this modem not registered log.
but not sure - not registered where? or to what?

using Smsd v3.1.3 from ports on freebsd 7.2.. thanks...

not registered in GSM network.
check your sim or GSM signal availability in place where modem resides.

i tried a few gsm cards here at my job and none of them worked. i assume it has to be a gsm card for an unlocked phone?!
