Name and model of a modem / phone: Siemens TC35
Interface: serial / USB / some adapter...serial
Hi,
I use a Siemens TC35 modem, and the modem blocks from time to time.
In the logs, I see the following line :
2012-06-11 10:16:44,7, GSM1: Command is sent, waiting for the answer
2012-06-11 10:17:51,7, GSM1: put_command expected (OK)|(ERROR), timeout occurred. 1.
2012-06-11 10:17:51,7, GSM1: <- †€`xf.f..f˜..`xæx`....˜†€þ
2012-06-11 10:17:51,3, GSM1: The modem answer was not OK: †€`xfff˜`xæx`˜†€þ
After power down/power up of the modem, eveything works again, for a time.
The smsd config file contains :
[GSM1]
device = /dev/ttyS0
incoming = yes
pin = xxxx
report = yes
init = ATE0+CPMS="ME"
init2 = ATE0+CNMI=2,0,0,2,1
I allready replaced the modem, the new one (same model) has the same problem.
Has anybody else the same problems ?
Is there another modem i should use ? (Falcom doen't produce them anymore.
Thanks in advance for any help.
