Name and model of a modem / phone: sim300,sim300

program does not check the answer modem (CME ERROR: 3 (operation not allowed)) and creates the effect of file bomb.
In the folder "phonecalls" created a lot of data because of the modem is not removed anything.
Perhaps command is not supported by your modem (sim300 Revision: 1008B12SIM300D32_SST34HF3284)

Last week I have accumulated a lot of files (10 pieces per cycle testing)

As you are running 3.1.7beta3, smsd will detect the error and stop trying after 3 errors. In the log you should have a message "Ignoring phonecalls, too many errors". Smsd does not try more while still running, but when you restart smsd, the counting and trying starts again.

In the configuration there is a phonecalls_purge setting which can be used when AT+CPBW command is not working. There is a default value for Siemens modems, but with other modems manual of a device should be consulted. It is also possible that storage of missed calls ("MC") cannot be purged, and in this case phonecalls feature cannot be used.

You could also check what "test command" says about this issue:

Ensure that there are missed calls in the memory of a device.

Stop the smsd if it's running.
Start it in communication mode: smsd -C GSM1
Follow the instructions on screen.

Type ATE1 (and Enter) to set echo on.

Type AT+CPBS="MC" to select storage of missed calls.

Type AT+CPBR=? to see the limits.

Type AT+CPBW=? to see the location range supported by the storage.

Ok, the final test:

Again, ensure that there are missed calls in the memory of a device.

Try:

AT+CPBS="MC"

AT+CPBR=1,10

AT+CPBW=0

AT+CPBR=1,10

If missed calls are cleared with AT+CPBW=0, you can use it as a phonecalls_purge.

If it did not work, your device is incompatible and phonecalls feature cannot be used.
