Tango-55 won't send SMS anymore

Version of smsd: 3.1.14
Smsd installed from: sources
Name and model of a modem / phone: Falcom Tango 55
Interface: serial

Hi

we have Problems sending SMS. For years it worked fine. But now smsd failed to send Messsages.

The log says, that the SMS was sent successfully, but the SMS did not receive.
We checked the SIM with the Provider. It's OK.

Update:

I tried the Modem on another System, and it works fine.

One difference was that I've got a message ID from the modem. The ID is missing in the log above.

The Problem occurs after upgrading from CentOS 5.7 to 5.8

It's solved:

there was also a serial console running on /dev/ttyS0 !
After stopping it everything was fine
