Version of smsd: 3.1.11-1
Smsd installed from: package repository
Name and model of a modem: IISA (argentinian modem) / 9600 baudios
Interface: serial /dev/ttyS0
Dear, I've installed smstools in my Debian Squeeze box with an attached serial GSM modem.
From my cell phone, I send SMS's to the modem and they arrive successfully.
The problem is when I send SMS's, I do it through the sendsms script, but I always fail. If I send SMS's via minicom wuth AT commands, they are sent OK.
After sending a SMS, I get an incoming error SMS in /var/spool/sms/incoming saying:
My /etc/smsd.conf is:
devices = GSM1
outgoing = /var/spool/sms/outgoing
checked = /var/spool/sms/checked
incoming = /var/spool/sms/incoming
logfile = /var/log/smstools/smsd.log
infofile = /var/run/smstools/smsd.working
pidfile = /var/run/smstools/smsd.pid
autosplit = 3
loglevel = 7
